RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The appeal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder against rejection of his nomination papers from National Assembly constituency NA-89 Mianwali has been accepted for hearing.
The election tribunal on Thursday issued notices to returning officer and others and set January 7 for hearing.
The PTI founder was represented by Umair Niazi, Raja Yasir Sharif and Malik Jawad Asghar before the tribunal.
It may be recalled that the nomination papers of the PTI founder have also been rejected from constituency NA-122 of Lahore.
